3 Days Safari to Mikumi National Park
Day 1: – Pick Up, transfer and evening game drive
3 Days Safari to Mikumi – You will be picked up from Dar Es Salaam (airport/hotel/residence) or Morogoro town at 06:00 hours (or any other time as agreed) and after greetings/introduction you will start your trip to Mikumi via Morogoro town. This trip will take about 5 to 6 hours of standard driving speed with a stop in Chalinze or Morogoro town for lunch. When you arrive in Mikumi National Park you will be checked in at your hotel within the park, refresh and have an evening sunset game drive before overnight staying over night within the park.
Day 2: – 3 Days Safari to Mikumi – Full day Game drive
Before breakfast you will leave for sunrise game drive in the morning starting at 06:30 hours for about 2 hours and then will break for breakfast at around 08:30 hours and continue with game drive there after till lunch time whereby you will have lunch at Mikumi Wildlife camp whereby you have an opportunity to see animals while
having lunch. After lunch and a little rest you will continue with game drive in another part of the park till around 16:30 hours and that will be the end of full day game drive. Expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species. After game drive you will go back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: – Sunrise game drive and Transfer back to Dar or Morogoro
Early in the morning of this day you will have sunrise game drive from around 06:30 to 08:00 hours then will have breakfast and start trip back to Dar via Morogoro town so that you can be able to get to Dar early (as maybe needed). Will have a stop in Chalinze for lunch before proceeding to Dar. This will be the end of your 3 days tour with Watu Safaris.
